The view from my drive to Mt Rainier, the promise of a good day on the mountain
South of Rainier is the rim of a massive (and very old) caldera called the Tatoosh, this is one of the peaks along the rim. To get the next shot I camped just out of shot on the left of this image (but not in December when this image was taken)
