Taken at ISO 3200 as the light had completely gone. I was chatting to another photographer as we headed back to our cars and nearly walked into this guy. I love the way the branch merges into the tail. I had this printed large on metal as a leaving present to my company, my staff claim I am still watching them!
The Northern Harrier is the same as our Hen Harrier only a lot more common, the male is known as the Grey Ghost and you can see why
