I liked this image anyway but I was having a quick re-edit to see if I wanted to use it in this presentation and I pressed the “Auto” button in Lightroom (as recommended by a certain senior member of TCC) - this is what it did, not realistic but quite a striking image
you may recognise this from the “Doting Parents” image earlier. People drive for miles to get pictures of Motif #1 – each to their own (except I had driven for miles for this picture, I did check the archives and I do have non-motif #1 images from that trip)
Cape Cod was the centre of the New England whaling fleet, this was the house built by one of the more successful captains. Remember the swallow feeding image earlier, that was here
