Just waiting in line for the ferry just like it was a normal car! Enough of odd bits of weird West Coast stuff back to nature
This stuff is everywhere on the beaches but this one stood out with a background of dark sand with large grains.
There would be great flocks of these in all the inlets and harbours all winter. The males are quite showy in black and white but this female show their big heads, dumpy beaks and the eye so well
