Bellingham to Juneau 2 days 14 hours! – we were posh and booked a “cabin” (bunks squeezed into a wardrobe!) the sensible people had tents
Another ferry trip got us to Haines Alaska where we took a scenic flight to the Pacific Coast – this was the “runway” out on the coast just south of Dry Bay. The pilot said “the wind has changed I am off to clear more driftwood so we can take-off”
Given just how “mad” the pilot was I am rather glad I wasn’t there. We flew straight at this mountain for quite a long time which was a bit unnerving
