the Adirondacks in January is a different matter, the temperature was zero degrees – degrees Fahrenheit that is! At least in the Adirondacks you are allowed a camp fire. I got frostbite the next day
Mount Rainier is over 14 thousand feet high but it looks bigger because it is isolated from any other big mountain – this is the view from the NW as I drove home from a day playing in the snow
