No blue in sight here. I have a lot of images of these against their normal green background – this one with the rock as a backdrop really emphasises the greenness of the dragonfly
Another Blue Dasher to finish off the Dragonfly section. It turned out to be dragonflies not odonatan as none of the damselfly images made the cut
A Purple Sandpiper although the purple blush doesn’t show in this light. I just sat on a rock watching a group of them foraging in the seaweed and this one saw a tasty morsel in my direction
